⁸But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Have you ever been given a job that seemed too much for you? That's probably how the disciples felt after hearing Jesus say this. They'd just been given the job of telling the whole world about Jesus. (Hey, no pressure, right?) But Jesus, through the Spirit, was going to help them go tell others about him. Do you realize this verse is directed toward you as well? God has given you the Spirit, and now he wants you to do what the disciples did: Tell others about your faith. Have you ever done that? Are you scared to do it? The disciples were scared, too, but they still did it. And the Spirit really helped them.

pray that you'll have the opportunity to talk to someone about Jesus today. You might be surprised by what happens.
