Today Nathan moved out of the ICU! We are in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). The plan today is to remove the chest tube, have Nathan drink more and have a bowel movement. If we get those things accomplished today the goal is we will be coming home tomorrow.
I know it may be silly but let's pray for poop!

Nathan, it was so good to see you tonight!! Be good for your mom and dad when you go home and have so much fun at school. All your nurses are going to miss you!!

When I read your comment to Nathan I asked him what he wanted to say back and he said "thank you. I love you."
You were so great with Nathan and the whole family. Everyone was but you made an impression on us! I feel like we are losing our best friend! I hope that doesn't sound too silly.
As happy as we are too go home we will miss YOU and the CHOP staff! We love you all!

Ok so I just told Nathan that I loved him n he told me he didn't love me. I asked " so u love Ms. Lauren but not me?". He said yeah. Ok Lauren you totally trumped mom!
awwwww, nathan just made my day...no actually he just made my year! I am so truly happy that I had the chance to take care of nathan and meet your whole family! Good luck with going home...the ICU wont be the same without you guys!
