Nathan's Visitation Day at School

Nathan has 2 Birthdays!

Four days ago, August 18, 2011, the family went to Jeremy Jr.'s football practice as we do each week night.

As most of you who live in our area know, it has been raining practically everyday. So while at practice last Thursday as we sat watching practice with Nathan and Aaron playing, you could see the rain storm coming in the distance. In the busyness of the couches running around trying to decide if they are going to cancel practice my attention was drawn to Nathan sitting in front of me playing in his own little world. With a battle cry I heard him say several times as he looked to the darkening sky, "we are not going to be saved, we don't have Jesus in our heart!"

Well I listened for a little bit more, smiled, and sat enjoying the warmth a mother feels for her children. Then of course I had to take the opportunity to talk with Nathan about salvation. I asked if he had ever asked Jesus to be a part of his life. Jeremy and I explained what it meant to do so and how you would do so.

We are all sinners - Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
The penalty for sin is death! - Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Christ sent His son to die for our sin and paid that penalty so we did not have too! - John 3:16 "God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Accept that you are a sinner
Believe that Jesus is God's son and that He died for you.
Confess your sin and ask Jesus Christ to be a part of your life!

That is exactly what Nathan did.  Jeremy and I had the awesome opportunity to pray with our son last Thursday on the sideline of football practice as he excepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! How stinkin' awesome is that!

Kids Bowl Free

I have been watching our Best Friends children since Mom has gone back to work.

Today I decided to go bowling.  Last year all of us with kids signed up for free bowling through kidsbowlfree.com and it was awesome.

So we used our kids bowl free coupons and Kim joined me on an adventure to take 7 children bowling!  Crazy right?!

Well we did great and the kids had a blast!

So I promised that I would blog more.  Where do I start?  So much is going on...!

A Brithday Wish from years past

and we're Back...!

Well I don't know how many people will be reading this as I have not posted in forever.  Also since I have promised and promised to post when I could and haven't really been able to.  Well Now the internet has returned to the Schoenrock household.  I actually haven't even used my computer for months either as I don't have anything to use it for.  So I used my iPhone to get online and things but larger tasks like blogging and replying to longer emails has taken a back seat to everything else because it would take forever to do on the iPhone.

Anyway now that I explained all that let's get to life:

I have so much to post that it would take me forever.  So let's see...

Ok I will gather my thoughts and put them in a new post.  I know I'm a goof but its cool!  haha
